Meet Víctor! He's my Digimon OC!

I made him when I was like 8, but this particular character means a lot to me because it's my first formal OC, so I don't want to change anything except the original name (Zuvek makes no sense). This is his original design, which I've kept intact throughout 14 years, with the exception of the clothes, which were always a shirt and shorts but I decided their design this year. (He doesn't wear Marsala Color Of The Year 2015 pants for nothing, you know.)

There are also two other protagonists in the story, which takes place in 2003, months after Digimon 02 and in a different country.

He has a traditional Digivice because he actually got it when we was born, no one knows how. And neither he nor his friends have a Digimon partner. I'd reveal more details but, even though there's a 1% chance I'll actually write their story, I don't want any spoilers here.

It's funny, I haven't actually considered drawing him until Tri was announced. It was like some sort of resurrection of my inner Digimon fan.

As you can sea, he has a water theme going. The other protagonists have fire and earth. I even decided the crests and all!

I guess you could say this drawing is symbolic. Víctor is being saved from the turbulent sea by a balloon, just like I'm rescuing him from oblivion right now. This is my official return to the Digimon fandom.

Edit: Added some shine to his hair and fixed the water's texture. Now it actually looks like it's being seen from above/the same level. Simple, but effective. Liquify is your friend. Also apparently you can do the layer mask thing on PS too. Sai is still much less consuming and takes a lot less to load, so sorry PS. I'm only in for the filters now.

Edit 2: Fixed his ridiculously round face and made it more coherent with my current, "final" style.
